Mary Poppins Auditions

Auditions are typically held at CWCT's rehearsal building 9 weeks before a show’s performance dates. Rehearsals  run 8 weeks and about 3–5 nights per week, determined by the role in the performance.

All CWCT auditions are held at our building at 700 W. Strowbridge St. in Wausau unless otherwise notes.

Prior to the audition, actors must do 2 Steps:

  1. Set up an audition appointment as described on the Audition Sign-Up page

   2. Once done, you will return to our             new online audition form to                     complete the process 

​

Auditions generally include the following:

  1. Preparation 

    1. Having a familiarity with the story is helpful.

    2. Actors must prepare a 1 minute section of a song.

  2. Auditions (3 elements)

    1. Prepared Song

    2. Acting/Reading (depending on age)

    3. Choreography (simple dance move)

Casting results are published once determined:

  1. Updating our status on the CWCT Facebook page.

  2. Email a cast list to all actors who auditioned.
